Brendan Hogan- Following 10 years in radio as host and producer at WERS-FM and
WGBH-FM in Boston, Brendan Hogan has released a full-length studio
album of his own, Long Night Coming. It features original roots,
modern folk, and blues-based songs, as well as familiar standards in
the folk and country genres. Hogan’s work in songwriting and
performing has seen him share stages with Geoff Muldaur, Ray
Bonneville, Eilen Jewell, Les Sampou, Kris Delmhorst, Paul Rishell &
Annie Raines, Spider John Koerner, Brooks Williams, and others. He has
recently showcased for the Boston Area Coffeehouse Association and the
WUMB Music Fest. The Boston Phoenix newspaper has called Hogan “a
distinctive new musical voice”.

Phil Henry- Phil Henry is an award-winning singer/songwriter and music educator in
Rutland, Vermont. He sings original, contemporary folk songs in
coffeehouses, festivals, and house concerts across the Northeast. He
has showcased on national stages, such as the Kerrville Folk Festival
and the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, and has won top honors in
songwriting contests at the Susquehanna Music and Arts Festival and
Vermont’s SolarFest. Phil’s new CD, Robots and Romance, is a
collection of twelve “short films” in song, inspired by the dramatic
stories found at drive-in movie theaters.

Alastair Moock- Boston singer/songwriter Alastair Moock was first inspired to pursue a
career in folk music after reading Woody Guthrie’s memoir Bound for
Glory in high school. Since then, he has gone on to win top honors at
many of the country's most prestigious songwriting contests, record
six critically acclaimed albums, and tour throughout the U.S. and
Europe. In addition to touring, Moock does school performances and
teaches workshops on American roots music. In early 2010, he released
his first album for kids, A Cow Says Moock.

Hey Mama- HEY MAMA (noun) - a washboard rock & roll experience, drawing
comparisons to Odetta, The White Stripes, and the Band. Hey Mama grew
out of the acclaimed Americana duo, Avi & Celia, and through their
powerful voices, washboard, and distorted guitars, they are bearing
the torch for music of the people. The Boston Globe calls them, “Sexy
roots swagger with populist fire.” The band tours nationally, playing
over 150 shows per year. NHPR says “see them in concert—they’re gonna
move you, I know they’re gonna move you.”

Jay Ottaway- Jay Ottaway is an award-winning songwriter/producer who studied songwriting and blues guitar at the Berklee College of Music and cut his teeth as a producer in Nashville and Cologne, Germany. He tours throughout Europe and the U.S. with his electric Jay Ottaway Band, and as a solo acoustic act. He has co-produced the Plymouth Folk and Blues Fest in Plymouth, Vermont, since 2003. Chad- Chad Hollister, a native of Burlington, Vermont, is seeing years of
grassroots effort pay off. His band recently opened for such
luminaries as Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Paul Simon and The Violent Femmes,
and he has shared stages with Phish, Blues Traveler and Little Feat.
Chad’s single, Grow, was awarded the #1 spot in Indie-Music.com’s
prestigious Top 25 for 2009 and his Jesus, Bon Jovi and Tarzan, took
first place in the national Billboard Songwriting Contest. Through
four albums—1998’s Chad, 2003’s Life, 2005’s Spirits and 2009’s Chad
Hollister—he has maintained a deeply-wrought optimism that echoes
clearly in anthems for a better world, such as One World Free and
Laugh.

Natalie Gelman- This New York City native has no fear taking her performance from
underground on a NYC subway platform to some of the world’s premier
stages, such as Carnegie Hall and Shea Stadium. Featured on the front
page of the New York Times, Natalie’s soulful voice carries over
multiple trains in the underground subway, and her intimate songs stop
even the most hurried NYC commuters in their tracks. Natalie’s
attended the prestigious Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music &
Art and the Performing Arts, the acclaimed FAME school. After securing
her second solo at Carnegie Hall, Natalie began strumming her guitar
and writing lyrics, pursuing what would soon become her vitality.

Milton- Milton is a New York City-based singer/songwriter known in clubs and
college radio stations up and down the east coast for his melodies,
spot-on lyrics, tight, groovy band and soulful, energetic live shows.
His most recent CD Grand Hotel received heavy airplay across the U.S.,
staying in the National Top 20 Americana charts for several weeks. The
CD, produced with veteran producer Bo Ramsey (Lucinda Williams, Greg
Brown), was praised in the New York Times and many other publications.
The closing track Booker was featured as NPR's song of the day.
